  • Another Saturday,
    in the park
    wish it was the 4th of July…
    (Chicago)

    Peacock Park in So Florida

    Walking one day
    I noticed time sped by
    I forgot to enjoy each day
    to the fullest-
    in retrospect I knew
    a change was in order.

    My soul lifted
    my heart was happy
    I realized what I yearned for
    each minute precious,
    made by choice.

    The sights and sounds
    priority reigns
    unconditional love
    with nature
    soon to be with
    a trust full grown.

  • Enjoyed the poem!!!! Thankyou…..

  • Your poem sends such a solid message
    that life is now
    Heartmath had no new invention
    merely a discovery as old as life itself
    life is now.

  • Isn’t it interesting how simple truths withstand all time!  Have a great day.  Colleen

I have a lot of his poetry copied and his music he will live through that media for me. I am tired this working six days a week is tiring even if it is short hours never have enough time off to get rested. Judi

  • “But at my back I always hear
    Times winged chariot hurrying near;
    And yonder all before us lie
    Deserts of vast eternity.

    An hundred years should go to praise
    Thine eyes, and on thy forehead gaze;
    Two hundred to adore each breast,
    But thirty thousand to the rest;
    An age at least to every part,
    And the last age should show your heart.
    For, lady, you deserve this state,
    Nor would I love at lower rate.

    - Andrew Marvell

    So good to be here again, I have missed you and everyone so much!

    Things are going ok here considereing. I am very busy and always running from bedroom to kitchen for meds and feedings, I am so glad I am able to help.

    Donovan is so cute , isn’t he? I may be prejudiced lol

    I have missed you much!!!

    Peace and Love:)

    Love your poem, I agree.

  • RYC… thanks for visiting my site where I had my poem and comment on love. Yes, I have been there before, too. It can get lonely by yourself without a guy (the RIGHT guy)… When I was single, I got involved in activities where I suspected there would be single guys…(I wasn’t a bar fly, so that was out). I joined church groups, volunteered a lot, went to local Singles events.. anything to get me out there. But, it can be tough.. Sometimes, it seems that all the good ones are taken…but that just isn’t the case.

    Good luck in your search.

  • I didn’t remember that you were a poet. I love it!!

    Thanks for sharing,

    a fellow Norski,

  • Laurie,  I love your poem on enjoying the normal pace of life rather than the speeded up version.  And I love the quote by DaVinci.

    Lonely?  I have asked you before to e-mail me personally.  I’m not an IM person, but am more than willing to correspond via letters.
