Doing OK here, still some pain and uncomfortablenesss, but life goes on!
The nights and early mornings have turned cool here. When I got up yesterday, it was 49 degrees-brr!
I have been reading a lot lately, and enjoying it, as it seems my attention span is longer. The current book I am reading is by Jimmy Buffett, the singer. He takes us on a tale of Tully Mars, in the South Pacific-he’s a very good writer, and has some great humor! My daughter started school on the 2nd, guess she likes it ok–she is taking 2 college courses, but I need to check what they are. She’s as feisty and unhelpful as ever. She is now splitting her time with me, and going to
another home in Hopkins part of the week-Thursday night thru Monday. So far it’s worked great in reducing the stress, but when she’s here, all she wants to do-it seems-is fight.Hope you all have a great Sunday, and remember…
I love you!!

Thanks for the info. Get well, stay well. You knew I would ask about your daughter didn’t you.
…but life goes on, indeed!!! I picked up that book, but wound up not reading it. I may have to give it another shot. I’m currently reading “The Birth of Venus” – really good!!! I’ll have to check out more by that author. Then, I get a comment on the book suggesting yet another author. So many books, so little time…
Glad you are doing better! Have a great Sunday!
 I’m glad you’re doing well. Sorry about the pain and uncomfortableness. hugs

Good to hear from you again. And good luck with your daughter, Trish, this school year.
Looking back at your site, so sorry to hear about all you’ve been through lately. You take care of yourself. :sunny:
:sunny: Nice to hear from you. I am a little unhappy to hear that your daughter isn’t doing as you’d like, but she’s a teenager. I’m a teen as well, so I understand. Trying to be independent, but not quite a girl, and not yet a woman. She loves and cares for you, however. I just wish she’d be a little more patient with you though.
I am glad to hear of you getting up trying to return to normal life. I wish you, your daughter, and all of your loved ones the best, and I send much love your way! Expect a card soon
I’m glad you are on the mend. Your daughter… OY. I know she’s a teen, but still… you are her mom!
Get well SOON!
Thinking of you Laurie..so glad you are with us…Health and happiness Love you too!
Bless you.
I’m just catching up. While all that was happening to you, I was wasting my time and attention on political BS. I’m glad you survived. That 911, ER, OR routine is traumatic fershure.
Good to know you are on the mend, but don’t allow tensions with your daughter set you back; it can cause you more stress than you should have right now,
I was shocked to hear about your heart attack. I finally got back on Xanga since June and I’m in the process of catching up with everyone. I hope that you are recovering quickly and that you will be as good as new in no time. Wow .. that is so scary … you are too young to have a heart attack. I guess we all have to realize that it can happen to any of us. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I missed you!
