  • The cold lake
    the small path
    birdsong
    golden glory

    Hands entwined
    words spoken
    empathy
    and understanding

    Path ends
    picnic spread
    you and I
    orgasmic delight

    Listen to
the sound of droplets on leaves…

    Imagine
yourself in that perfect place – indoors hearing the rain pitter-patter on the
windowpanes or perhaps taking a stroll outside with an enormous umbrella. Let
the sound of raindrops infuse you with a sense of quiet rejuvenation. What is
the rain saying? Open to the possibility of refreshment and growth. Maybe there
is something it wants you to hear…

  • RYC… I was driving along one morning just before sunrise and saw this image…. It burned itself into my memory. Later that day I tried painting it. The background is the second painting. The first was very disorganized and indistinct as I was trying desperately to recollect exactly what I saw. The second was a compromise between my jumbled memory and a contrived composition.

  • Oh! Yum! That was good! Thanks for a presnet on Tude’s birthday!

ryc: I am so full of flaws and errors myself, I think that is why I am so apt to find them. I want to be better myself and finding a flaw is the first step to fixing it!

  • guess where i went today?  we got so much stuff, too much stuff. stuff i don’t even need (of course) but have some goods ideas how to make it all very unusual. it wasn’t just clothes we got, it was all kinds of ….stuff. did you guess thrift store? yep.

  • RYC:  I will have to tell you about the kid’s mom when you & I have about a year to discuss.  Here’s the Reader’s Digest version:

She’s a horrible mom.  She lost custody of the kids.  She makes promises to them that she doesn’t keep but she always comes out smellin’ like a rose.
