  • Sunday Morning

    I am watching the above named TV show.  They just had Lewis Black on; he’s a wonderful character, and appears a lot on Jon Stewart’s Daily Show.  He sounds angry all of the time (he’s not), and spouts off on all things we wish we could.  A very funny man.

    Next week, Eric Clapton will be featured on the
    show.  A fantastic musician and man.  If you’ve never heard his
    music, you must.



    Sipping on coffee, talking with you, and it’s
    nice and quiet (aside from the TV), as my daughter slept over at a friend’s
    house-gotta love that.  My cat begs for treats even though I gave her some
    at 6 am (went back to bed).  For those that don’t know, she is a beautiful
    calico cat, born on St Patty’s Day, and named Morgan.

    Now, Sunday Morning (CBS)
    is talking about a book called Presidential Doodles.

    The personal doodles of the Presidents over the years.  Looks pretty
    interesting in
    showing how the mens’ minds work.

    As a former drug
    addict, addicted to heroin and cocaine for over 10 years of my life, I have
    learned what it means to be empowered. I have become empowered to release the
    things, circumstances and people in my life who were not serving my highest and
    greatest good. How did I do that? Through prayer, meditation and knowing the
    truth of who I am.

    When I found out
    that I was created in the image and likeness of Love, I became empowered because
    I began to love what I thought was unlovable … me. When I found out that
    God/LOVE saw only my good and never condemned me or judged me, I stopped judging
    myself and condemning myself and began loving myself. Thats empowerment!

    I learned that
    there was no substance greater than the substance of LOVE/God and in knowing
    this it was easy to let go of my egos need to use drugs. When I learned that I
    had power within me to overcome anything and that nothing was more powerful than
    that Power within me which is God/Love, I became FREE.

    I live a healthy,
    happy, prosperous and FREE life today because I accepted the Truth that the One
    Presence and One Power that is Love is who I truly am … not the addict … not
    the judge … not the condemner … not the unloved … but the real me: God
    expressing as Zakiyyah/LOVE.

  • This is the third time I’ve heard of Lewis Black in a blog this week–I must see one of his performances! I only catch the Daily Show sporadically; it’s on too late, and we tape it, but no time!!!

    Yeah thats what iv told him myself, well he didnt wanna get merried but it would be just about the same as he would have to move to another country! The thing is he wants to move with me but i told him that baby i love you to bits but we cant do this now! If you move you need to quit your job and we dont afford that!! you need to come over here leaarn the language and everything before you even think about finding a new job and i cant afford that for both of us now just living on a scolarship so thats impossible, and i dont want to move you away from your old family they need you, i have just some years left here and i wil come. and when we woke up the next morning everything seemed to be oki we talked about it and he said ofcourse i know this i just miss you so much and hate every second were apart! so i understand him i feel the same but we know we cant already!!

    Ohhhhh you do? youshould come celebrate christmas with us one tme, traditional one:) hehe

  • Thank you for dropping by my site. I was never a big fan of Eric Clapton until I saw him recently on tv performing with a ton of other musicians for a tribute for George Harrison. I do know of his history with the Beatles, mostly George, and he was really wonderful.

    Cats are so cute when they are sleeping. Her coloring is beautiful.

    I liked your quote from the former addict. I was wondering if you’ve ever gotten into “A Course in Miracles.” I was turned on to it several years ago, but was not ready for it. Lately, I have turned to it again and fine it immeasurably helpful. It’s not for everyone and really changes your world view.

    RYC: it’s not “pills” that I’m taking. I got some new shots for my migraines and I am waiting to see if they work. My cold is complicating matters, as I have blocked sinuses and it’s hard to tell what’s going on.

  • Lewis Black’s Hillarious. I’m not too thrilled about the dem’s taking over, they pretend to be compassionate but it’s a false compassion but it’s really control, they are nothing but closet socialists. But the Republicans are fucking up things badly in America as well.
