  • Show me a person who is not an
extremist about some things-who is a
    “middle-of-the-roader” in everything-and
I will show you someone who is insecure.
    ~G. Aiken Taylor

    I love you!!

  • Great quote!  How are you today????  ~Colleen

  • Sometimes it takes alot to keep my mouth shut but I pick what I will be passionate about and then look out. So it may appear that I am sitting on the fence but I’m listening.

  • What does too much extremism indicate?

  • Just dropping by to say, “hi”

  • i thank the same way.

  • how are you this saturday? just got back from doing errands and now going to relax with a good book. i should be working on my clay, but i’m just not in that mood.

    love you my laurie.

  • you get run over in the middle of the road   beck

  • Hmmmmm…should I tow the line on this one, walk the fence, or comment?

RYC:  You can come fishing with me.  The more the merrier.  Can you find your rod?

    HUGS!!!!

  • Yea thanks Laurie.  It’s quite healed by now.  Not serious at all.  And yea, I do believe I agree with you.  Don’t we all crave and want that which does not exist?  Do you really think that none exist?? AT all??  period??

  • My initial reaction to the Barry Goldwater quote of years ago — “Extremism in the pursuit of justice is no vice; moderation in the defense of liberty is no virtue” (Have I got the wording right??) — was positive.  But the old boy got excoriated for it in the press.  I still think he would have made a better president that LBJ.

Of course, Dubya has turned me into a flaming liberal.  I’ve seen the error of my ways.

  • With a lot of extremists pretending to be MOR, wonder if that makes them doubly insecure

  • That little post made me think of that guy who does those landscape painting. God if I could only remember his name…..

  • The wreath is on a nursing instructor’s office door. :sunny: :sunny:
I appreciate you saying I’m not an old fart.
I might have believed it a year ago, but not now. My day is over. Its time for the young to play now.

  • So true – if you’re not passionate about something – what’s to live for?

  • Have a stupendous week!

  • Nice picture…

I’m exhausted…and talking to you online right now, AHAHAHAHAHA!

  • RYC: If you look at my entries for Jan 12 and 13 you will find a longer list of books to choose from. These titles were all scored for very little $ at a used book sale, which made me excessively happy to say the least. :)

  • nice picture!!!

  • No actually I can’t…..give me a second. ARGH!! I can’t think of his name!! I just remember seeing him on a PBS-type thing and he was VERY mellow….a had a beard I think.

  • Would not it be better to replace the word “extremist ” by ” passionate ” . Extremists may be dangerous .

    Love   Michel
