Here I am!
(not a great picture)Been hot here-yesterday it was 88 with a 69 degree dew point.
Better believe I had my air on! I find it harder to breathe when
the humidity is so high-get kind of crabby, too!2 more weeks left on making my clay fountain.
The fountain was fired, and now tonight, it
will be ready to glaze. Would like to do two colors, but
not sure which ones yet. It has a grotto where I will put an opaque
blue fish, over the water pump. It also has 10 tiny lights, and
will have lots of colorful rocks. I loved doing this, and
would like to do more!Trisha has been gone a lot-with friends-so it’s been kind of quiet
around here. She starts counselor camp next month-for 3 weeks.Will be a busy day, what with therapist @ 11, a dr appt for Trisha @ 2
clay class tonight @ 6, then shopping. I picked up some lovely things at the Goodwill in the last week or so, maybe I will take a picture of them?!Hope you all had a safe and happy 4th-tell me what you did!

Hi, Laurie! I’d like to see a pic of your fountain when it’s finished, too. It sounds really neat! I have only made a couple of very primitive clay pieces in my life – in junior high art class, lol. I have no art talent, other than appreciating the works of others!
Good luck with all the appointments today. I hope your daughter enjoys the camp counselor training. I was a camper, counselor-in-training, counselor, and director of counselors-in-training, back in the day. I wouldn’t trade any of that for the world!

humidity always makes me grumpy lol I have learned not to vacation near the ocean because I make it a misrable trip for everyone lol
I did a whole lot of nothing! Ok, I emptied some more boxes, wrote a chapter. That’s about it. I shlubbed the rest of the weekend.

It is very humid today….yuck….I dont do summer very well. This is my blue time. fall and winter are my most happy times.

I so want to see your fountain when it’s finished. Must take pictures. I’ve always wanted to try clay work especially with a potters wheel. Sounds really fun, but I am not artistic in any way.
Well I get kinda Grumpy myself when it gets so humid……yes we want to see a few pics when your done with the fountain.have a great Wednesday

It’s heating up in Cincinnati and there is no way in hell I will post my photo to prove it! Love ya girl. Go read why I MUST stay in touch with my Navy son. He’s in Connecticut, done with basic on 6/27. I still hold my breath.

My plans for the weekend are like most weekends…I’ll go take pictures somewhere, get groceries, do some house work, and play online.
