Loving the colors and the brisk air, although it’s supposed to be 62 tomorrow.
Just finished my lunch, now I’m ready to write.Limp on, sad heart
may you go away
and place the happiness
on this very dayNo more woeful nights
lying sleepless
in tornado of covers
appearing lovelessLove is within
love is to share
whether you wish to
or it’s done on a dare. What’s that old quote by Lincoln?
A man is as happy as he makes up his mind to be.
I love that, and it’s so true. We keep looking for happiness elsewhere-
in other people and things, but it’s always right inside us!Look within and find your happiness-
it’s so worthwhile.Physically, I’m getting better-feel pretty good, too.
I love you!!

Glad you are recovering. (((hugs)))
I live in Texas, 62 IS brisk!!!
Glad to hear you are doing well. It is a lot colder than that here today. It was about 40 and windy when I went out earlier…not nice!
Sounds like you are feeling better spiritually too.
Glad you are feeling better!
How does a man make his mind up to be happy? Well he has to ignore the things that makes him unhappy or do something so he can avoid thing about unpleasant things.
Illness can help you to purge things from your mind. I guess it is like a rebirth, huh?
I’m glad you’re getting better physically.
I love your poem (“tornado sheets”) and the quote by Lincoln (or whomever). I got a book one time of quotes attributed to Lincoln and realized much of what is attributed to him was false. There is so much that it would have required him to do nothing but stand around and coming up with original quotes. Many of the quotes attributed to him were probably said to him. But because he was the first President that was constantly surrounded by newspaper men (probably not women), he was quoted more than anyone before him. But just because he said it, doesn not mean that he created those sayings.
Personally, I’m more interested in the truth that I can walk away with in a saying than the source. So I couldn’t care less if it was originated by a particular someone or not. And I do like the truth in this saying. Thanks.
