  • Full Moon today!

Watch out for the restless ones!

Elder’s Meditation of the Day – November 13
“My Grandfather survived on this earth without using anything that did not go back into the earth. The whole world could learn from that.”
    –Floyd Westerman, SIOUX
Our grandfathers knew how to live in harmony. They did not create poisons or technologies that destroyed things. They did not make their decisions based on greed or for selfish reasons. They did not take more then they used. Their thoughts and actions were about respect. The Elders conducted themselves in a respectful way. We need to consider our actions around respect for Mother Earth.

My Creator, have the grandfathers teach us today about the old ways

Got 2 dvds the other day.  One of them is named ‘Hush’, and the
other one is named ‘Close Your Eyes.’  Seen either of them?

I quit my cardiac rehab-for a while-as they were working me too hard.
I have use of a treadmill here at my apartment, so I use that on occasion.
I have signed up for a smoking cessation class.  It will begin on Nov 24th.
I really hope I can stay quit this time, I so enjoy smoking! The program
    is called ‘QuitPlan.’

Hope your Thursday is above normal, with little chance of flurries-lol!

    I love you!!

  • We should get back to living in harmony with nature. No doubt about that.

  • The full moon explains a lot!

  • We have mostly clouds so its hard to see the moon.  I hope it brings me good luck tomorrow.

  • Good luck with your cessation program

Sustainability is living today in such a way that our life styles 50 years from now will be just as viable.  We don’t take any more than we give.  And that includes energy.

  • By the way, Barry said to say “Hi”.  :sunny:

  • Last evening, the moon peeked out from behind the clouds and gave the misty, damp night air a certain mysteriously delightful feeling that I hope you shared with those of us whose restless hearts yearn impatiently for a touch of lunar lust and misty magic.
