  • What in the heck has happened to all of my readers/commenters?!
I can’t get around and comment like I used to, but I’m stymied.
I bought lifetime, but I am thinking of canceling and trying to
salvage some money back.   My faithful readers!

Perhaps I should think up stories or try to write more poems?
    What do you think?

I will get to celebrate two Thanksgiving dinner this week.
On Wednesday, I will go to a friend’s house and have
leg of lamb, plus all the goodies.  Then on Thursday,
we will go to my brother’s
house and have the turkey and all.
Wednesday will be really fun as my friend is the life of the party.
She is one of the funniest people I know.
    Looking forward to it!

I’ll be sure to take some pictures!!

Come and tell me what’s going on in your lives,
    I’m interested!

    I love you!!

  • :wave:Im still around but have been MIA a lot the last month.but I know what you mean.I used to get 20 to 30 comments per post now its more like 4 to 8………seems too many out there want comments but they do not return the favor or take the time to visit……..seems like lost relatives for sure…….have a great week:sunny:

  • Sometimes it is really slow on xanga…don’t know why but I think it’s because we get to read all of our subs without going to their site and then forget to go back and comment.  I know I do that sometimes.  Other times I’m just busy and skip a day or two.  Honest, I still care about what is going on in your life..

  • It’s the great law of blogging: those who cant get aroud to commenting, soon don’t get comments. I too am busy, and so very much a non-entity nowadays.

  • Staying fully connected on Xanga is like a full-time job!  I come and go myself.

  • I have noticed there are less comments being left these days. Personally, I have been MIA because I have a new puppy that has been taking most of my time.
    *sparkle

  • You won’t get any money back.  My readers come and go too, hun.  Maybe the 24 month campaign gave everybody PTSD!  *hugs*

  • It all comes and goes. When it rains, it pours. Have a great Thanksgiving!

  • I’ve had a lean blogging year.  It’s not you, it’s just that people come and go.

  • I think it is kind of the time of year, combined with people working more to make ends meet, the fact that posts seem to get buried fast for some reason…
I am making dinner here on Thursday for most of my family… its an off year, with some of the family off with the other sides…

  • i have noticed it is quiet all over the web..other places besides xanga and has been that way for a couple of weeks. life happens. thought id:wave:thru

  • I’m bored mindless at the moment.

  • There are slow times here for sure…I read but don’t always comment….

  • I’m still out here, sweetie – reading and commenting when I can -

I’m cooking for the family this year, traditional turkey and all the trimmings.  It’s gonna be fun, I think.

Hope your dinners are both yummy, and that you waddle your way back here with lots of neat pictures!  ; )

  • i think other technology has taken the wind out of the xanga sails. sad :(

  • Hi Laurie.  I read most of my subs through subscriptions now.  Didn’t mean to slight you by not commenting.  I still care!!!

    Enjoy your Thanksgiving(s).  *hugs* ~Colleen

  • Gosh, I’m so sorry I haven’t been able to stop by as much, but I wanted to stop by now, though, while I could!!  Love You!! ((((HUGS)))

P.S. Hope you and yours have a great Thanksgiving!

  • Having a bit of a tough time. I still post occasionally, but I’m not on very much. I’ll get back to my old self soon! Don’t give up on me!!

    Happy Thanksgiving!!! (((HUGS)))

  • Readers are like tennis balls, when you hit the ball,  the ball bouces back, sometimes it doesn’t.

    Keep writing.

  • One turkey day dinner for me at my sister’s house. Should be an interesting time. lol
I hope you have a great time on Thanksgiving.

  • I’m not looking forward to Thanksgiving.  I’ll be spending it with my sister (one and a half hour drive there) and my brother and his wife (down from Toronto staying with my sister).  They are not friends which I would choose.  They are very narrow minded and fanatacal religious.  But, they’re family, so I put up with it.

  • THIS is usually the time of year that Xanga takes a dip…but so what

  • People just don’t comment like they used to.    I’m just as guilty.    I post less and get less comments.

Part of it is this new feature where you almost automatically subscribe to anybody you post to.   You end up with this long sub list to read, and then no time to keep up with all of them.

  • hì Laurìe, gosh I am so busy, I try to scan through my friends, I must try to find time to comment,
See you have not been forgotten, I didn’t get life because I know that just couldn’t keep going on a regular basis.
    Stay with us.

  • My apologies for not commenting more often than I do… I too have trouble keeping up….

Hope your two Thanksgivings are wonderfull!

    Hugs & Bites! :heartbeat:

  • i haven’t been around much so i get barely any readers anymore :P

it’s ok tho, i still got you :)

  • I read but don’t comment much. Haven’t been myself for awhile. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving (s).

  • I think we all go through periods of reading and not commenting. I know I do!

  • stop whining more poems – more stories – more pictures – more, more, more… that’s what we all want. give ’til it hurts and then give some more. popularity is a big job. comments need to be invoked by some magical interest genie… even good friends lose interest after a while. we’re all just people and at least you’re being pro active. I haven’t commented only because you haven’t begged me enough.. (j/k)

  • Happy Turkey Day………hugs.

  • We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving over here in the UK but I would just like to wish you a great day.

  • Have a very blessed Thanksgiving   both of them  yum   blessings beck
