  • Trisha does not have an ulcer.  She might have something else, but
no ulcer showed up on the scope.  The doctor will have results
after a while.  I am so curious, and of course, so is she!  She
has continued to be in quite a bit of pain, and still gets *sick* on
    occasion.

I, myself, continue to be pretty good, I am more sedentary,
and need to get back to cardiac rehab, but I’m squeaking by!

It’s been pretty cold here, the temp right now is only at 3F.
Being inside helps!  We have snow–so it will be a white Xmas, as far as I know.
Went out yesterday and picked up some Elephant Bingo gifts (Dollar store),
and got a bag of 24 croissants for 4.99.  Already mailed cards out, and I have
done a little decorating.  Can’t do much, as the living room has been taken over by my daughter’s
messes-some of mine, too.  I used to make Spritz cookies every year, but can’t
afford to this year.  Most of my shopping has been done at the local Dollar Tree.
Money is so very tight. (As we all know!).

Hope you’re enjoying a cup of good coffee, or tea–
warms the body and the mind!

Hope your Thursday goes well, and that you can
accomplish what you need to.  I have the whole day free, wonder
    what I’ll do?!!

    I love you!!

  • :heartbeat:  Blessings, glad she doesn’t have a ulcer, hope they find the problem and it’s a simple thing to cure.

    Cards….. oh pooh, fergot

  • I’m curious too. hmmmm
    Have a nice Christmas!

  • ulcer, no ulcer – I’ve been scarce lately, what’s the scoop?  (curious because OIL (son-in-law) has ulcer-like symptoms but won’t go to the doctor.   Where did you get that pic of me dancing?  (OK, I’m not a granny yet, but I’m getting that hair)  Mostly boring Christmas presents this year – toothbrushes, body wash…  Also secrets for each child – don’t know who’s looking in here

  • I’m visiting the dollar store tomorrow to try and do some of my shopping.  There is so much left to do and not a lot of money to do it with.

  • Love the dancing lady.

I don’t know if to say I’m glad or sad that Trish doesn’t have an ulcer.  If it were an ulcer, it would be identifiable and also treatable.  As long as they don’t know, it’s not treatable.

  • Glad your daughter does not have an ulcer. Are you ready for Christmas? What are you doing for Christmas? Judi

  • I missed some of you posts , Laurie and also your birthday .
I am glad it is not a stomach ulcer for your daughter .But what ?

I wish you my friends better times to come and good health. You need  heart rehab ?
    Love

    Michel

  • Hope your daughter’s tests come back soon.  It’s maddening not to know the cause of the problem!

I hear you, about money being especially tight this year.  I’m going to two dollar stores tomorrow, to get stocking stuff and finish up everything.  We’re not spending much at all this year.

Hope you and your family have a nice Christmas, Laurie.
