Lacking a lot of energy the last couple of days.
it has been cloudy and cool, though. Our 2 cats have been even closer with Trisha-
it’s like they sense a big change coming.
She is leaving in 18 days.
I feel ambivalent, but content to know
she’s going to a good household, and
I can begin my life over, too.I haven’t been alone too much of my life-
no doubt I’ll learn a lot and grow a lot, as well.It will feel so good to be free,
but I will miss her, and expect to ‘crash’ a few times.
No parties for this girl, but once the place is all cleaned up,
I can start having friends around.It’s only 52 today-brrrrr.
We need the rain so badly, but it doesn’t seem to come.
I’m hoping my morning glory buds peek through soon, but
I have to remember to water them every night-
sometimes it seems like such a job…I’ll be keeping the 2 cats, although their food will probably break me.
Want to give away the bird, need to put up an ad.To have this apt in order will be so nice!
It’s been messy for around 9 years.
Some spring cleaning is in order, plus
Trisha needs to get rid of her messes.Anybody gone camping yet? I hope to go, sometime in July,
with a couple of friends. It’s really a lot of fun.
To be so close to nature, and water–big aaaaaaah!Do you ever try to do different things in different ways?
I think spontaneity helps!I hope you are all well and happy?! Come see me over on Facebook, too-

Well, this will be different. Hope it goes well for both of you.
I actively seek different ways to do the same things. I also actively seek different adventures. There are 5 routes to work from my house and I take a different one each day. I alternate hands brushing my teeth. Left one day. Right the next. It works out kind of random since I can’t remember which one I did last the next day. roflmao I sit in different chairs in the living room. Not the same one each time. If I’m going out to eat, I try to select somewhere I’ve never been before. I could keep listing those. I’ve been living like this for years. Great fun and it keeps things interesting.
hugs and love
Whahoo Laurie being a single woman again. Mine all moved back again at least half a dozen times. Judi
Just dropped in to say hello!~
Well it sounds like both of you may have some exciting adventures ahead! A year in Hawaii sounds amazing, and maybe the time apart will give you guys a chance to redefine your relationship into something more than what it has been! I am sure you will miss her, but maybe you can go visit!
My Laurie..sounds like a big change coming..for you both* I hope it all works out for you two and you are both very happy…good luck with the bird and making plans and things
I know you will miss her..* But won’t she be nearby? I hope so…thinking of you…miss you here..although I am not here too often either..:( Lots of love to you…Lee
I think you’re going to start to love yourself more when you start participating in your new life-style. I think you’ll find it exciting to be able to develop in the ways you want to develop rather than according to your assigned roles.
I hope so.
Big changes for you both, but you sound very positive, so good for you.
I LOVE being out in nature & especially being around the water. I haven’t been camping in a long time, but we are hoping to do some primitive camping soon. Throw a tent in the canoe & just head up the river!
Take care Laurie. I will look you up on FB as I am over there now too.
Have a awesome weekend, I have two cats and love them to pieces
