  • Hawaiian-Bound!!

    Hello there!!

Much has changed since I was here last time.  My biggest thrill was a trip to Honolulu, Hawaii, to visit my son, and his family, and my now 18-yr old daughter!  I fell in LOVE with Hawaii, and I am aspiring to move there!!

There is an Artist Sanctuary on the Big Island of Hawaii, near Hilo.  It is called Kulana, and their website is www.discoverkulana.com.  I am wanting to go there very muchly-hehe!  I need someone to go with me, to be a partner in a cabin there!  It is near the eastern seaboard of the island.  Please check out the website, and let me know if you’re interested!?!

I have included some pictures of Oahu here, so you can see just how gorgeous the islands can be!!  The ocean, the palms, the sand, the sun–simply full of Aloha Love!!

As far as Kulana, you may contact me here, or on Facebook, or on AIM at Labujen077, or Yahoo at buell.laurie.  Please let me know as soon as possible!  I am willing to sell most of my belongings, to go.  Come join me!!!!   ))))

  • Oops, where are the pictures?!!!

  • Please be VERY careful…there are alot of dishonest & scary people out there who would take advantage in an instant….please be safe.  I do hope you will be able to satisfy your dream one day though….

  • If you sell all of your belongings what will you have to come back home to??

  • Maybe you could do a PayPal account as a way of raising funds? Just a thought…

I really do hope you can go, Hawaii is a magical place.

  • It is something to think about but be sure to research it and find out all of the details.

  • You have received an interesting collection of comments. Similar to the ones I get from people when I tell them I’m going to sell my stuff and live in an RV full time. lol I hope you find a cabin sharer. I’m sure that if you don’t things will work out anyway. Go ahead sell your stuff. You aren’t planning to return are you?

  • I’m in contact with Cristina, she said indeed that they are talking about moving.  I would not let that hold me back.  It might be fun to be part of something new for Kulana.

If it were me I would do what you are planning.  Sell what you can, cleaning out old stuff makes room for prosperity and new things.  If you have a tent you can take, take it, if the weather holds for you, live in it on the property.  But have enough money put aside “just in case” you get poured on for days on end.  In the meantime, maybe a cabin mate will show up, if you can’t find one beforehand.

From past experience, I know that when you put your faith in the future, and if you are meant to be there, it will all fall together. And it usually does.  Expect miracles.  I also know many people who have done exactly what you want to do.  Their Hawaiian experience is that once they get there, not everything happens the way they expected or hoped.  Sometimes it’s harder, and sometimes it comes together like manna from heaven.  Everything happens for a reason, as you probably know.

My biggest lesson I have learned from making all my Hawaiian journeys is that I learned to fall in love with myself.  Taking chances, risking much, having adventures & just doing something for myself and being proud of it.

I would not hesitate to use Kulana as a landing zone.  If you go by the rules that she has set forth, all for good reasons, you will be fine there.

  • How exciting for you. I love Oahu.

  • Get as close as you can now, visit, observe, feel the vibes, if you can. Then make the final decision or select another plan. You’re in charge. You’re precious. Aloha.

  • Just checking to see if you are okay..haven’t seen you on FB lately..

  • How wonderful you got to go to Hawaii. I hope you can go and live there. How great that would be to be near your kids. I have missed you a lot. Judi

  • Have you stopped blogging?
